2012

Year End

The end of a very successful year, one that would be very hard to beat. It is by far the most miles I have done in one year and also the most alive I felt in one year. Yes it was very time consuming to spend all that time cycling but the accomplishment was well worth it. The funny thing is the more you ride this vehicle, the better and faster it gets. I doubt I will be able to match those miles in 2012 which would be unfortunate, but the focus would be to get more Pterovelo's on the road.

Seven stores to stop at and seven cards to collect. What fun, but hard on the knees. Ended with a 9,10,J,K. So close!

One more visit at Physical Therapy Central, they are doing a great job at getting my feet back to normal.

The weather is so nice now. It is a shame I don't cycle more. Will have to start commuting again.

17 mile - Foggy Morning

It was a beautiful foggy morning. Not many cyclist showed up today, I guess it was the perfect sleep in morning. The fogging almost became a problem then I remembered that I have some emergency cleaning wipes in my tool kit. That saved the ride. I is a must to have a clean windshield for days like this otherwise the fogging inside the windshield becomes a problem. So I skipped the Sunday ride and went to Elemental for coffee. Awesome!

50 mile

Fun ride to Norman this morning. Met with Joe and Gabby and gave the kids a ride in the Pterovelo. Joey loved it so much I think I have my first customer, soon as his feet touch the pedals.

Cold front came through today and left us with a 30mph N wind. It was so strong and the lake was so dry that Greg complained that the air feels like sandpaper. So we headed South on Portland.

Tiffany met me at the coffee shop and so the Sunday morning coffee ride turned into a breakfast rider. Had some couple of pancakes and caught up with the pack again at the end of the River Trail.

A trip to the mall and the bicycle shop. Got my first parking ticket at the mall today. I am considered to be a motor cycle and should park in the designated area - Awesome!. My legs definitively is not getting enough exercise lately. They were burning pretty bad trying to stay with the traffic.
